Petra was clearly satisfied with the visit Grandma Kelli, Pepe, Dora and Franka paid her last week.  

Channeling Gretta...

Petra's cousin Gretta likes to scrunch up her nose when she's happy.  Shortly after our visit to MN where the two were able to meet again, Petra starting making the same face!

It Burley time!

Jeff's coworkers at Neptunes gave us a Burley for our shower so we had to get Petra a helmet.  Super cute, huh?!

Sorry for Slacking!

We have had non stop visitors since Ben and Esther were here and then Petra and Mom took a trip to MN.  All this activity put the blog on the back burner.  Grandma Kelli visited, Jesse and Jessi visited over Easter, then Grandma Peg came for a week.  This weekend Adam and Susie are visiting and then Grandma Kelli and the crew come to visit again!  Crazy!  Little did we know that having a baby would make us this popular!

Petra got all dressed up and went to church so she could watch mommy and uncle Jesse sing in the choir.  She was very well behaved and enjoyed the music.  She paid special attention when she heard her mom singing a solo.

Grandma Kelli was visiting for her Spring break.  Jeff and Angelie were able to have some time for themselves and Petra got lots of kisses from Grandma!

Snow Storm

For about three weeks it was sunny and 70, but on Wednesday we got almost two feet of snow in Boulder!

Ben and Esther visit CO

Petra was scared of Ben for the first two days and pretty much cried every time he looked at her.  She warmed up a little this morning.  We are realizing the Petra is a little too attached to Mom and Dad and we need more visitors at the house.  So buy your plane tickets today and come see us!

Petra had a long day

Petra's new goal is to roll over on to her stomach.  She has not quite succeeded yet, but as you can see on the video, she is close.  By the end of day, Petra was soooo tired she fell asleep in the kitchen. 

A birthday wish for Grandma Kelli...

I'm growing up....

Petra has been growing like a weed in the last couple of weeks.  It seems like every day she grows into a new outfit...which is why I am show casing her new wardrobe in these pics.  She is wearing these cute little uggs I got at a garage sale.  The green onsie is from Lori Stangret, and the pink pooh sweater is from grandma Kelli.  She is not only growing up physically, but she has been acting like a big girl too.  Lately, Petra and Mommy have been going all over town on long walks, to the coffee shop, and to visit Daddy at work.  She doesn't fuss at all and just sits like a little angel looking at everyone with her big eyes.  Now if we could just get her to sleep through the night, this parenting thing would be a piece of cake!!
